Nonsense galore

Hi there!

I'm a science student, but art still snatches a large chunk of my time and interest. I draw mainly fantasy themes and various beasties, the more eyes and teeth the better! Some are original, others inspired by my favorite authors.

My first attempt at abstract stuff
A birthday gift for my sister who’s a huge fan of the hunger games.
It turned out too curvy and naked to be a legit Katniss and little sis is now embarrassed to display it in her room. I blame the life drawing classes I started taking, and hey, maybe when Katniss grows up she’ll come to Johanna’s point of view.
Urban werewolf.
My submission for November in Neil Gaiman’s Calendar of Tales.
Since for me the phoenix is all about flipping off death as you rise from the ashes, I figured Eloise should get some feathers to match the hat.

Just a bunch of sea monsters socializing, or trying to eat each other, I’m not entirely sure…
An alien that stabbed his toe, aka I just discovered Corel painter so I’m drawing random stuff

Got a t-shirt on threadless! So it would be pretty fantastic if you could vote for it here:http://beta.threadless.com/originalmonsters/monster-mood/

Sunset at Clear Lake in Manitoba
Another painting of Caesarea Maritima National Part in Israel, built by Herod more than 2000 years ago. They still have horse races in the Roman Theater near the shore.
Another one I did at Clear Lake
